The defendant, Lake Publications, Inc., in 1963 purchased premises from the plaintiffs for the sum of $27,000. It was agreed that the purchaser would pay $5,000 down and the balance was to be paid in monthly instalments of $200. The vendor agreed that he would deliver a warranty deed for the premises when the entire purchase price was paid. Interest on the unpaid principal was to be paid at the rate of 6 1/2 percent.
